Team Survivor Newsletter October 2022

I was a little upset with Mother Nature at the beginning of the year because it was difficult to start training with the extended winter and snow. But since September has been so beautiful I’m feeling better about the year. We had fabulous rides in September including our trip to Grand Junction for the Tour of the Moon. It was the first event I’ve ridden all year where it didn’t rain! I’m looking forward to getting in several more rides before winter shows up again. Come join us! Thank you for signing up with Team Survivor to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Registration Nation

Want to join us for another season of miles and smiles? We’ll have a great time and support life-changing research for blood cancer patients. We currently have 18 registered members. Our goal is to have 30 for the season so please sign up if you haven’t or invite people in your circle to join! Here is the link, scroll to the bottom and hit the red JOIN button: https://fundraise.lls.org/edit/4386754?isTeam=1

FUNDRAISING – $9,945

We’ve passed $9,000 on the way to $100,000. Congrats to everyone who has got a jump on their fundraising for next year. It’s never too early to get started!

Turner/Jankowski Connection!

Please join me in welcoming four more members to Team Survivor 2023! We are so happy to have Dawn, Kassy, Hannah and Kyle along for the ride! We need 12 more riders to get to 30 – who can you invite to join us??

Team Survivor Internacional

Good luck to Team Survivor Internacional, leaving later this month to ride from Granada to Seville, Spain!

Air Force Academy & LStew BBQ

It was awesome to be back at the Air Force Academy. TNT used to ride here at least once a year when we had several members of the team who lived in the area. Thanks to Laurie & Ted for creating the route and hosting a fabulous BBQ after!
