Team Survivor Newsletter September 2022

It’s already been three months since we rode our cold and rainy lap around Lake Tahoe. That means it is just nine more months until we get to try it again! We’ve had a great summer – lots of rides, events and good times with the team. I’m looking forward to another season with this great group doing amazing work for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thank you for signing up with Team Survivor to Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Team Survivor in Forbes Magazine

For the second time, Team Survivor has been recognized as a top fundraiser for Team in Training in Forbes magazine. Thanks to each of you who persevered by training, fundraising and participating last season, bringing us closer to the day when we will cancel blood cancer. I’m grateful for all you do to support LLS’s mission!

Next up for TS – Junction Function

It’s almost time for our annual trip to Grand Junction to ride the beautiful Colorado National Monument, and we have several teammates joining again this year! Check out the video below and notice some TS argyle at the 14 second mark (looking good Meli and Grover!). Registration is still open so consider coming along for the weekend! Fundraising – $8,920

With a big lift from Dead Cat Bounce, Team Survivor has a great jump on fundraising for 2023. To date we have raised $8,920 – just $91,080 to go! It’s never too early to get started. A quick email or post with some photos of you from Tahoe or on a training ride is a great place to start!

The Cats were back in August for another Team Survivor fundraiser at Over Yonder Brewery in Golden, CO. Thanks again to everyone who was able to come out and be a part of the afternoon. Such a great group of supportive family and friends. At the end of the day, Lady D and Meli collected donations and sold t-shirts that will all support our goal of reaching $100,000 in fundraising. Thanks all!

Cat backers!
