On January 18th I had my sixth, and hopefully last, chemo treatment. Later this month I will have a PET scan to get final confirmation that the lymphoma is gone. Thanks again to each of you who have supported Meli and I over the past several months. We’re optimistic for positive results and looking forward to getting back to normal soon!
Believe it or not, we are just four months away from our ride around Lake Tahoe in June. That means each of us have exactly 122 days to hit and exceed our fundraising goals and get in shape to ride 30, 70 or 100 miles. It’s time to get your fundraising in gear – we’ve got some big goals for the year and we need everyone’s best effort to get there! It’s also time to start your training if you haven’t. There is no requirement to join the Team Survivor training rides on Saturdays but you should consider starting to ride on your own now or joining us to ensure you have the best possible ride experience in Lake Tahoe! The Saturday ride invites go to all registered members on Facebook so look for the invites each week (please friend me on Facebook if we’re not connected today). Let’s do this! Thanks for signing up with Team Survivor to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
