Team Survivor Newsletter October 2021

Happy Halloween and welcome to October! Want to hear something spooky? We are just 8 months away from our ride around Lake Tahoe! Let’s get busy raising money and getting ready to ride America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride! Thanks for signing up with Team Survivor to Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Wishing all our best. . .

As many of you know, Barb and Gregg were involved in a bad bike crash during our team ride three weeks ago. It was very scary and we have all been so worried about them. Gregg spent a few days in hospital and I’m happy to announce that Barb finally came home from the hospital and rehab yesterday. I’ll leave the specifics to them to share when and if the timing is right, but we are just so happy and relieved that both of our friends are alive and recovering. We love you!

Team Survivor in Forbes Magazine

If you’re not a regular reader of Forbes Magazine I wanted to let you know that Team Survivor was mentioned in a recent edition because of our fundraising achievements during the pandemic. As a reminder, we raised over $133,000 and were one of the top fundraising teams during a season when Team in Training cancelled all in-person events. Thanks to each of you for being amazing teammates, for remaining relentless and dedicated to this mission and for receiving this honor. Congratulations to you all!
