Team Survivor Newsletter May 2022

Can you hear Lake Tahoe calling? She knows you’ll be there to ride around the lake and in just 35 days! It’s been a great season – we’ve welcomed some amazing new friends to the team, we’ve raised a ton of money for a cause that we are all passionate about and we have ridden several hundred miles together in all kinds of conditions. We are just 35 days away from completing our mission to raise $100,000 to support blood cancer patients and celebrating as we cross the finish line in Lake Tahoe. Thank you for signing up with Team Survivor to Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Sponsorship Fundraising Challenge

I have some exciting news! We have an offer for a Team Survivor sponsorship. If we can hit $95,000 in donations our sponsor will donate the last $5,000 to get us to our $100,000 goal. As of May 1st we have raised $86,887 so we just need another $8,113 (plus the $5,000 sponsorship) to fund a life saving blood cancer research portfolio. We are so close but need everyone’s help to get there! Great job, team – now let’s finish this!

May Ride Schedule

It’s the final push before we get to Lake Tahoe. The more of these training rides you can join the more enjoyable your ride will be. Note there are two Friday rides due to a few Saturday events that several teammates are joining.

  • May 14th – Elephant Rock with Team NEO (62 miles, 3778 feet)
