After three years in the making, the Cats were Bouncing all over Lone Tree playing a Team Survivor fundraiser on June 11th. Over those three years the band experienced multiple starts and stops due to COVID, life and injuries so it was great to finally get to play. Thanks to Sir Rancelot who had the idea and then made it a reality. He is a great leader and an amazing musician! He recruited everyone in the group, scheduled reheasals, developed our set list, located the venue and kept swinging in spite of many challenges along the way. We played at Brothers Bar on a 100 degree day but had an awesome turnout for the fundraiser. So many thanks to all the players in the band that put in all this time and effort for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thanks to Lady D and Meli for collecting donations and selling Dead Cat Bounce t-shirts. We raised $2000 for the cause and have a great start to our 2023 fundraising. Thanks to all of our teammates who came out to hear us – we appreciate it so much!
