Team Survivor Newsletter May 2019

The home stretch. We have just 31 days until the mighty argyle of Team Survivor rides 100 miles around awe-inspiring Lake Tahoe. Everyone has worked hard raising money and training which will make our weekend in Tahoe one to remember for years to come. Thanks for all you are doing to Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

TEAM SURVIVOR SEND OFF -It’s the social event of the year, so be sure to mark your calendars and join your teammates on Thursday, May 16th, for the Team Survivor Send Off Party! We’ll provide dinner and a short program and then pass out the new Limited Edition 2019 Game of Thrones Team Survivor kits and t-shirts for those who ordered them! We are looking forward to seeing you and celebrating a successful end to fundraising and training! Here is the evite link that I emailed last month – please RSVP so we plan accordingly! http://evite.me/jhQKZ4PEMb

FUNDRAISING – For the second consecutive year, Team Survivor has raised over $100,000 and will be funding a blood cancer research portfolio. I am humbled and honored to raise and ride with each of you. This is a special accomplishment so everyone should be very proud of your fundraising contribution. Congratulations to each team member for your commitment to this cause and for making a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients! As of today, we have raised $109,180! Also, a big thank you to Sir Rancelot (Rance McDougald), who has exceeded $10,000 in donations for the second consecutive year – tremendous job! APRIL TRAINING – we finally saw a little good weather (well, except for the day we rode in the snow) which resulted in some great training rides during the month. Take a look at a few of the highlights pictured below. Be sure to join us for all the May rides – we have Evergreen, Carter Lake, and The Tour de Denver coming up!

See you all in Evergreen on Saturday!
